New Yamaha XMax 250 and 400 spied

These spy shots, exclusive to MCN, show the new Yamaha XMax 250 and 400 undergoing testing on the roads near Milan, Italy - a big market for scooters.
Despite most of the bodywork being covered, it looks as though the styling has received a big update, with both front and rear lights appearing much sleeker on the test bikes.
The two scooters, running under disguise were spotted near to a Yamaha research and design facility near Milan, which is a headquarters for a lot of design and engineering work in Europe.

There don't appear to be any major mechanical changes to either scooter, and any changes to the new models could be to bring them in to line with incoming Euro 4 regulations.
