Kawasaki Athlete 125 used engine 124.6cc, four stroke, SOHC air-cooled. Compression ratio reached 9.5:1, and capable of issuing power 9.9HP at 8000RPM. Using a centrifugal clutch, with a 4-speed rotary system. 

It can use the kick starter starter or electric starter. Carburetor used was the same as Kawasaki Zone 125, the Keihin PB 18 ... rear suspension using a mono-shock with parallel link suspension unitrack.
